Morris, Minn. – Superior Industries, Inc., a U.S. based manufacturer of bulk material processing and handling systems with operations in South America, plans to showcase its latest construction aggregate processing and handling solutions at CONEXPO Latin America. Well known in North America, Superior recently expanded operations by adding three manufacturing facilities in South America. The company gained the property after acquiring Parcan Group, a 40-year-old Brazilian-based company that engineers and manufactures conveyor drums and rolls.
With the addition of Superior’s core products, including crushing, screening, washing and conveying equipment, the manufacturers local entity is able to offer aggregate and mining producers processing and handling solutions from Rock Face to Load Out®. Visitors to booth B4432 will be able to meet with Superior employees about the manufacturer’s crushing, screening, washing and conveying equipment. Additionally, visitors can explore opportunities for conveyor idlers, pulleys, belt scrapers and accessories, plus crushing, screening and washing spare parts. Capital equipment dealers or parts distributors are also welcome to explore open territories in the manufacturers network of resellers.
First established in 1972, Superior was founded by the son of a sand and gravel producer. At the beginning of his career, Neil Schmidgall improved portability and production technology for his father’s plants. When neighboring aggregate producers asked if he could improve their equipment, Schmidgall took his company public.
Since then, Superior has maintained a strong entrepreneurial and enthusiastic approach to business. The manufacturer established conveyor and plant portability designs that are favored all around the world. In 2016-17 – after several acquisitions and some in-house design projects – Superior debuted a brand new group of crushing, screening and washing equipment. These products joined an existing and evolving conveyor and custom plant portfolio for a complete product offering from Rock Face to Load Out®.
