Classify, Scrub and Dewater
Fine material is usually defined as 3/8” (9.5mm) and less. However, Superior’s fine material screw washers will accept a maximum feed of 3/4” (19mm).
In addition to minor scrubbing, the machinery classifies by specific gravity. That means lighter, unwanted materials (like lignite, micah and organic products) float over the back weirs. Heavier sand falls to the bottom and is augered up the tub.
As it proceeds up the incline, water drains from the material and is eventually discharged with a moisture content of 15-25%.
If you don’t have time or space to stockpile and dry this material, many producers pair with a dewatering screen to remove half of that moisture. Better yet, the Aggredry® Dewatering Washer is all processes in a single machine.

Service & Parts
We always have been and always will be a privately-owned company. That means we can add more employees to our customer service team without Wall Street breathing down our neck. Isn’t that the way it should be?
They’re the same neighbors you’d trust to babysit your dog on the weekend. Our factory-trained dealers are a local connection for sales, service and parts.
Staffed by agents born to serve others, you’re welcome to call our technical service team 24/7/365. (If you call in the middle of the night, we can’t guarantee they’re in uniform!)
You know the old saying … “square pegs don’t fit in round holes?” It’s often the case with knock-off parts. Genuine Superior are forged from the same steel as our equipment.
